Comedy at Tapyard with Crissy Rock

We are delighted to announce the debut of live stand up comedy at Tapyard Studios!

We have headliner Crissy Rock, you’ll probably know her best from ITVs hit show Benidorm, however she’s been doing comedy for years and she’ll have you in fits of laughter! She’s an English award-winning actress, stand-up comedian, and best-selling author, most notable for her role as Maggie Conlan in the 1994 film Ladybird, Ladybird, and as Janey York in Benidorm whom she played from 2007, until 2011.

Opening the show we have MC HAMMERSMITH! He is a multi-award winning hip hop comedian. He writes and performs original hip hop comedy tracks, and performs improvised freestyle rap comedy based on audience suggestions.
He is the world’s leading rapper to ever emerge from the ghetto of middle class west London. Now based in Edinburgh, he performs across the UK and internationally.

Hosted by Steffen Peddie, Abit of a legend here in the North East! He presented the late night chat show on BBC radio Newcastle for many years and became a fan favourite. He also starred in hit comedy sitcom Hebburn as Big Keith!
